This is not a traditional warehouse operation. My client combines warehouse fulfilment, courier collections, technology, and operational problem-solving to help businesses ship smarter and scale faster. As they continue to grow, they are looking for an organised, proactive, and operationally minded person to join the team in a key coordinating role within the business.
Location: Northampton (NN3)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000, depending on experience
The Role
This is a hands‑on operational coordination role that sits between the warehouse, dispatch, and transport operations. The role is critical to ensuring daily workflow runs smoothly, customer deadlines are met, collections are coordinated correctly, and warehouse operations stay organised throughout the day. This is not a purely office‑based admin role. My client is looking for someone who can think logically, stay calm under pressure, prioritise workloads, and help coordinate a busy logistics operation. The role naturally changes throughout the day depending on operational demands.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily warehouse and dispatch workflow
- Print and organise order paperwork and labels
- Prioritise shipments based on courier cut‑offs and customer requirements
- Liaise with warehouse staff to maintain operational flow
- Coordinate drivers and collection schedules
- Monitor dispatch progress throughout the day
- Identify operational bottlenecks and escalate issues where required
- Support transport and warehouse administration
- Ensure high levels of accuracy and organisation
- Assist with improving operational processes and SOPs over time
