We are delighted to be supporting a well‑established Northamptonshire based education provider with the recruitment of a Curriculum Administrator to join their Sport department on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent support across a busy department.

Working closely with the Head of Faculty and wider curriculum team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the department, supporting both students and staff through efficient administration, communication, and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional administrative support to the Head of Faculty and wider curriculum team
  • Organise meetings, prepare agendas, and take accurate meeting minutes
  • Support the tracking, recording, and management of student absences
  • Produce letters, timetables, reports, and parent communications
  • Act as a key point of contact for students, parents, employers, and visitors
  • Assist with the organisation of open events, taster days, and parents evenings
  • Liaise with internal departments including MIS, Student Services, Marketing, and HR
  • Support timetable updates and curriculum administration processes
  • Collate and present data relating to course performance and attendance
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and departmental systems
  • Support invoice processing, timesheets, and general departmental administration
  • Provide reception and visitor support when required

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience within an administrative or office‑based role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Professional and approachable manner with strong customer service skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to work
  • Experience within education or a similar environment would be advantageous but not essential
