Mara Recruit is actively recruiting four experienced Carbon Fibre Paint Preppers for a permanent position based in Northampton. The successful candidates will be responsible for the preparation, painting and finishing of Formula 1 carbon fibre parts and components within a high-performance motorsport environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation, painting and finishing of carbon fibre F1 parts and components
- Surface preparation including sanding, masking and defect rectification
- Applying paint systems to a high-quality finish, meeting exacting standards
- Working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced motorsport environment
- Adhering to all health, safety and quality procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in carbon fibre painting and/or prep work
- Background in motorsport, automotive, aerospace or composite manufacturing
- High attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Ability to work night shifts on a Monday–Thursday pattern
- Full right to work in the UK

- Position: Carbon Fibre Paint Prepper
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: 168 hours per month
- Shift Pattern: Monday–Thursday, 16:30–03:00 (night shift)
- Salary: £50,000 per annum + benefits
