We are working with a well-known and highly reputable facilities management contractor who, due to expansion and new contract wins, are recruiting within their electrical division. This role is a testing and inspection role carrying out EICRs, testing etc. on commercial sites.
Responsibilities
- Working mobile across your region going to various commercial sites
- Carrying out testing and inspection, fixed wire testing, EICRs
- Associated electrical minor works, install, remedial works
- Undertake refurbishment & installation works of all aspects of electrical services, including electrical switchgear, distribution boards, mains and sub-mains cabling, containment, lighting and other electrical equipment.
- To have knowledge of inspection and testing procedures and certify works upon completion in accordance with relevant certification.
- To undertake reactive and planned service works ensuring client expectations are met.
Qualifications
- You will be a qualified electrician holding Level 3 or equivalent, 2391 or 2394/2395 testing certs and 18th edition
- You will have in-depth knowledge of electrical test & inspection procedures, good computer literacy and ability to use testing & inspection software for completing reports.
- You will also possess an in-depth knowledge of the current regulations BS7671:2018.
- A flexible approach to work is an essential requirement and out of hours working may on occasion be required to complete the work schedule.
