You’ll have real autonomy in this role, managing your own portfolio of clients doing both advisory and compliance work, as well as playing a key part in supporting the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities- Main point of contact for your own portfolio of clients.
- Produce complex management accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Prepare and present reporting packs to provide clients with valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and review VAT returns across a range of industries, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Lead, train, and mentor junior staff members, supporting their development and fostering a positive team culture.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance clients’ finance systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA qualification or QBE.
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice, with strong knowledge of financial operations and management accounting.
- Confident working with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a client portfolio independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with a diverse range of clients.
