We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Technical to join a leading food manufacturer in County Armagh. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the technical function, ensuring the company meets the highest quality, safety, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing BRC audits and experience working with high-profile retail clients such as Tesco, M&S, Asda, Aldi, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the technical department to ensure compliance with all food safety, quality, and legal requirements.
- Oversee and manage BRC audits, ensuring the company consistently achieves high standards.
- Work closely with retail clients, especially Tesco, to ensure all products meet their specifications and requirements.
- Maintain and develop the company's quality management system to meet customer and regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, quality standards, and operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership and technical support to cross-functional teams including NPD, operations, and supply chain.
