As our name suggests we manufacture Springs & Pressings. We are looking for a trainee to join our very busy manufacturing environment. This role is within the pressings manufacturing part of our business, and involves the setting of power presses which operate progression press tools.
The person does not need any experience but any background in an engineering or manufacturing environment would be helpful. Full training is given on a one to one basis, while shadowing and minding of machines will be the initial role.
Please note: The work environment requires the wearing of ear defenders at all times.
Starting salary is £25k pa. The person will have regular appraisals with training objectives which will reflect pay increases. Full company branded workwear provided.
Hours of work:
- 07:40-16:25 Mon – Thursday
- 07:40-12:10 Friday
