About the Role
Hatched Talent are proud to be partnering with a leading property maintenance and refurbishment business, supporting the search for two skilled Carpenters / Multi Trade Operatives to join their growing team. This is a hands‑on, mobile role covering a range of reactive and planned works across multiple regions – ideal for an experienced tradesperson who takes pride in their craftsmanship, thrives on variety, and enjoys working independently as part of a reliable national team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out carpentry and general multi‑trade works across commercial and residential sites.
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete planned works to a high standard.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to company quality expectations.
- Travel to different sites as required (door‑to‑door travel paid).
- Participate in the on‑call rota (1 in 5 weeks, TBC).
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or Multi‑Trade Operative.
- Strong skills across general building trades (carpentry essential).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Willingness to travel and stay away when required.
Package & Benefits
- Pay Rate: £15–£18 per hour (dependent on experience)
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00 (1‑hour unpaid lunch)
- Travel: Paid door‑to‑door
- Overtime Rates:
- Weekdays (18:00–07:00): 1.5x
- Saturdays (until 13:00): 1.5x
- Saturdays (after 13:00), Sundays & Bank Holidays: 2x
