Joining a highly regarded Tax team, you will work on sophisticated advisory matters across corporate and real estate transactions, supporting a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:- Advising on tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions
- Supporting corporate reorganisations and restructuring projects
- Providing expert advice on SDLT, VAT and employment taxes
- Structuring and implementing tax-efficient solutions
- Working closely with corporate, real estate and private wealth teams
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Contributing to team growth, strategy and mentoring junior lawyers
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
- 8+ years’ PQE in corporate and/or real estate tax
- Strong expertise in M&A tax, restructuring and transactional tax advisory
- Detailed knowledge of SDLT, VAT and employment tax
- Proven ability to manage complex, high-value matters independently
- Excellent drafting, analytical and client relationship skills
- Commercially focused with a strategic, solutions-driven approach
- Experience working with owner-managed businesses, corporate groups or private equity clients
- CTA, ATT or equivalent tax qualification
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members
- Interest in business development and practice growth
- £85,000 – £110,000 salary (depending on experience and seniority)
