We are hiring for our client for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join a highly regulated, fast-paced manufacturing environment in Newry. This Manufacturing Supervisor role is a key leadership position responsible for driving operational performance, maintaining GMP standards, and leading high-performing teams within a world-class production facility. The successful Manufacturing Supervisor will play a critical role in ensuring production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The Role

  • Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives to achieve performance targets
  • Ensure full compliance with GMP, quality standards and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee manufacturing processes including compounding, assembly, cleaning and environmental monitoring
  • Review batch records, production documentation and quality data with accuracy
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support process optimisation
  • Manage deviations, support CAPA activities and resolve production issues effectively
  • Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and operational excellence
  • Work closely with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Support training, development and performance management within the team

The Person

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a regulated industry (pharma, food, medical device or chemical)
  • Previous leadership experience (Supervisor, Team Lead or Senior Operator level)
  • Strong understanding of GMP or similar quality systems
  • Experience planning resources to meet production targets
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally within a production environment
  • IT literate with experience using production or reporting systems
  • Flexible to work continental shift patterns
