A well-established, UK Top 100 law firm is looking to appoint a Senior New Build Conveyancer into its Plot Sales team in Manchester. This is a permanent, full-time role with hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in the office) and a strong focus on quality, client service and delivery against housebuilder deadlines.
You will take primary responsibility for part exchange matters and associated new build conveyancing work, managing files from reservation through to post-completion. There is also scope to support and supervise junior conveyancers where required.
Key Responsibilities- Taking primary responsibility for part exchange files and associated conveyancing matters
- Managing new build conveyancing work and miscellaneous estate management matters
- Preparing and issuing contract packs, responding to enquiries and producing clear reports on title
- Proactively progressing transactions to meet client deadlines and expectations
- Acting as a key point of contact for housebuilder clients, providing regular updates and maintaining strong relationships
- Handling completions, including completion statements and billing
- Managing post-completion work, including dealing with requisitions promptly
- Managing your own caseload using the firm’s case management system
- Supporting and supervising junior conveyancers where needed
- Strong experience in residential conveyancing, including part exchanges, with an understanding of the housebuilding process
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Confident workload management, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and case management systems
- Clear written and verbal communication, with a professional and client-focused approach
- Proactive, self-motivated working style, with the ability to contribute effectively within a team
- Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 (DOE)
