The Role

Tax Advisory supports regional offices and clients with specialist expertise across a wide range of complex advisory work. Projects are varied and often high-impact, covering areas such as corporate reorganisations, share schemes, property structuring, shareholder exits, family investment companies, inheritance tax planning and more. Due to growing demand, we are looking to appoint a Senior Manager to join the team. This is a key hire for someone who enjoys technical advisory work, wants to take ownership of projects, and values building trusted client relationships.

What you will be doing

As Senior Manager, you will play a central role in delivering advisory projects and supporting the continued development of the service line. Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and delivering complex tax advisory projects from scoping through to implementation
  • Providing expert technical advice in areas such as corporate reorganisations, property structuring, and shareholder exits
  • Working directly with clients to ensure advice is practical, clearly communicated, and effectively executed
  • Building strong relationships with entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses
  • Contributing to service development through webinars, technical content and thought leadership
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members, helping to build a collaborative team culture

What we are looking for

  • Qualified tax professional (CTA, ACA, ACCA, ICAS or former HMRC Inspector)
  • Strong advisory mindset and a genuine interest in deepening technical expertise
  • Confident taking ownership of projects and delivering high-quality technical work
  • Experience working with SMEs, entrepreneurs or owner-managed businesses (advantageous)
  • Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable building strong client relationships
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent analytical and report-writing capability

Working pattern: Hybrid
