A high-quality real estate finance opportunity in Manchester for an associate who enjoys lender-side work and wants exposure to a broad mix of transactions. This role sits within a growing, supportive team and offers the chance to work on complex deals while also running your own matters, building technical depth and developing strong client relationships. You will support a dynamic real estate finance practice acting for lenders across a range of transactions. Depending on experience, you will assist on larger, more complex deals and manage smaller transactions independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting on a range of real estate finance transactions for lender clients
  • Supporting larger, more complex deals and running smaller matters with appropriate supervision
  • Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and ancillary documentation
  • Supporting property due diligence and managing transaction processes and timelines
  • Supervising and supporting junior team members (including NQs and paralegals)
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Contributing to business development and cross-referral opportunities

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
  • 4+ years’ PQE with experience in real estate finance and/or commercial property
  • Strong technical ability across commercial property and landlord and tenant matters
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
  • Commercial, pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Confident communicator who works well as part of a team
