We are seeking for one of our clients, a well-known law firm in the UK, a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal – Housing Disrepair Litigation to join our dynamic legal team for the Manchester office. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting the management of housing disrepair cases, ensuring high-quality legal services for our clients. Responsibilities
- Assist solicitors and legal professionals in managing a diverse caseload of housing disrepair litigation cases from inception to resolution.
- Draft, review, and prepare legal documentation, including correspondence, pleadings, and witness statements.
- Support initial client consultations by gathering and analyzing relevant information related to claims.
- Liaise with clients, housing authorities, landlords, and third-party vendors (e.g., surveyors and contractors) on case progress and communication.
- Conduct legal research on housing law, disrepair issues, and court procedures, providing recommendations where necessary.
- Monitor key filing deadlines, court dates, and compliance with case-specific timelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records using legal case management systems.
