In this position, you will play a key role delivering high-quality audit and assurance services across a broad client base, with particular focus on not-for-profit organisations and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and supervising audit assignments from planning through to completion
  • Managing and reviewing work performed by junior team members
  • Building strong relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact
  • Identifying risks and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Supporting Partners and Managers with workflow planning and client delivery
  • Contributing to the development and mentoring of junior staff

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong technical capability alongside excellent communication skills.

Essential Requirements

  • ACCA/ACA qualified or nearly qualified (finalist level considered)
  • Minimum 3–5 years’ UK Practice experience within audit
  • Proven experience working with not-for-profit clients
  • Strong exposure to SME audit engagements
  • Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and audit standards
  • Confident leading audits and managing client relationships

Desirable Skills

  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach
