The company is seeking a driven, articulate, and professional Lettings Negotiator to join their busy residential lettings team. This role may be suitable for entry-level candidates with a background in customer service or sales, as well as those already working in lettings who are ready to take on more responsibility. What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
- Registering and qualifying prospective tenants
- Booking and conducting property viewings
- Liaising with landlords and tenants
- Negotiating rental offers and agreeing lets
- Supporting the lettings team with administrative tasks
- Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation
- Maintaining accurate records and database updates
- Delivering a high standard of customer service throughout the rental process
What We’re Looking For (Skills & Experience):
- Previous experience in lettings, sales, or customer service (preferred but not essential)
- Confident, professional, and well-spoken
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Positive and proactive attitude with strong team spirit
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- Knowledge of the Maidstone area is a plus
- Full UK driving licence is essential; own car preferred
