Trainee Field Service Engineer – Coffee & Vending Equipment
Location: Field-based in Crawley and surrounding areas
Salary: £28,500 + overtime + progression opportunities
Are you practical, hands-on, and keen to build a career in engineering? We’re looking for a Trainee Field Service Engineer to join our growing coffee & vending equipment service team. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone with mechanical or electrical interest who wants to learn a specialist trade.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting senior engineers with service and repair of coffee & vending machines.
- Learning how to diagnose faults and replace parts such as pumps, valves, boilers, sensors, and wiring.
- Assisting with machine installations and commissioning on customer sites.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
- Providing excellent customer service and technical advice to end users.
- Completing service reports and job documentation using mobile systems.
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on mechanical or electrical interest (basic electrical knowledge is a real advantage).
- Ability to use hand tools and follow technical instructions.
