The Role

  • You will play a key role in managing and enhancing the performance of all legal services, working closely with senior leadership to drive quality, efficiency, and client outcomes.
  • Leading and supervising multi-disciplinary legal teams, including litigation, advocacy, and support functions.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end delivery of legal services, ensuring consistent quality and client satisfaction.
  • Maintaining and enhancing compliance frameworks, including supervision under the Legal Services Act.
  • Driving operational efficiency, process improvement, and service optimisation.
  • Managing performance, resourcing, and utilisation across teams.
  • Overseeing high-value and complex matters, including audit and review processes.
  • Contributing to strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Supporting client relationships through training, engagement, and service development initiatives.

About You

  • You will be a qualified solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE.
  • Experienced in civil litigation (volume, insurance, or defendant work advantageous).
  • Proven in team leadership, supervision, or operational management within a legal environment.
  • Commercially aware, process-driven, and comfortable managing delivery at scale.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to balance quality, risk, and efficiency.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-volume legal services environment.
  • Experience within advocacy services, legal operations, or scaled legal delivery models would be highly advantageous.
