The Opportunity

Joining a busy and growing litigation department, you will manage your own caseload while working closely with senior solicitors and partners on more complex matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a caseload of civil and property litigation matters
  • Conducting litigation from instruction through to resolution
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements
  • Advising clients on dispute resolution strategies
  • Attending hearings, mediations and negotiations where appropriate
  • Maintaining high standards of client care and case management
  • Supporting business development initiatives and networking activities
  • Ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and profitably

About You

We are keen to speak with commercially-minded solicitors who enjoy client-facing work and are looking to further develop their litigation career.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • 3-4 years' PQE within Litigation
  • Strong experience handling civil litigation matters
  • Experience in property litigation would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
  • Strong client relationship management experience
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development
