Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 + £5000 car allowance per annum, Mileage covered and Incentive scheme.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality, patient-centred audiology care as a qualified, HCPC-registered Hearing Aid Dispenser/Audiologist, delivering thorough assessments and personalised hearing solutions across multiple clinic sites (Banstead, Purley, Croydon, Bookham and Caterham). You will use strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients throughout their hearing-care journey, while being adaptable, proactive, and open to innovative ways of working. Above all, you will demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering excellent patient care and continuously improving service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective line management for the Surrey team, approve holiday and communicate with HR and other managers for rota changes and staffing levels.
  • Create and manage staff rotas for the Surrey Audiology team.
  • Report weekly KPI’s to Head of Audiology.
  • Be pro‑active on site, providing staff training, awareness building and marketing.
  • Build rapport with practice staff.
  • Carry out full hearing assessments.
  • Fit, programme, and verify hearing aids.
  • Conduct microsuction wax removal (training preferred but not required).
  • Perform Tympanometry confidently.
  • Provide after‑care and ongoing patient support.
  • Build strong patient relationships and deliver person‑centred care.
  • Work across different Surrey branches (driving required).
  • Support service development and contribute to new ideas/processes.
  • Maintain awareness of clinical techniques and product availability through professional journals, seminars, training sessions and exhibitions to keep knowledge, CPD points and registration up to date.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car.
  • Ability to travel across Surrey branches.

Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc (Hons) in Audiology or Foundations Degrees for Hearing Aid Dispensers (HADs).
  • Tympanometry experience beneficial.
  • Microsuction experience beneficial.

Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent communication skills and passion for customer service.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working between sites.
  • IT skills (Word, Excel, etc.) and good organisational skills.
  • Enthusiastic, willing to learn new skills and able to adapt to a role that often evolves.
