HR & Payroll Administrator to join a fast-paced and growing food manufacturing business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent attention to detail, and is looking to develop their career within Human Resources.
As a key member of the HR team, you will play an important role in supporting employees throughout their journey, from onboarding new starters to maintaining employee records and assisting with payroll and attendance processes.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department.
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
- Monitor attendance records and help resolve any discrepancies.
- Collect and process timesheets for hourly paid employees.
- Support payroll administration by ensuring attendance and payroll information is accurate and submitted on time.
- Process new starter and leaver information on company systems.
- Assist with onboarding activities, including employee inductions.
- Set up new employees on internal systems and attendance platforms.
- Collect biometric information for clocking-in systems and site access where required.
- Respond to HR emails and employee queries in a professional and timely manner.
- Produce daily attendance reports and other HR documentation.
- Ensure all HR records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
- Carry out routine locker inspections and maintain associated records.
- Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous administration experience within HR, payroll, or a similar office environment.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- A proactive, positive, and team-oriented approach.
