What You'll Be Doing
As a Network Repair Engineer, you'll play a critical role in restoring and maintaining connectivity for customers. You’ll be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and repairing copper and fibre network faults at customer premises
- Working within frames and exchanges to install new services and resolve faults
- Carrying out work at height and within underground infrastructure
- Testing at multiple points across the network to accurately locate faults
- Delivering a high standard of service independently and as part of a team
- Meeting performance targets and service KPIs
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
We're looking for engineers who bring technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and a strong commitment to quality. You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience in a telecommunications network repair role, including exchange work
- Strong knowledge of copper and fibre fault diagnostics and repair
- A safety-first approach in all working environments
- Confidence working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Experience using smart devices and digital job management systems
- Strong organisational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- The ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence working at heights of up to 15 metres
- Excellent attention to detail
- A full UK manual driving licence (minimum 12 months held, maximum 6 penalty points)
