The Role: Mixed Tax with Client Ownership

This position offers a balanced workload across personal and corporate tax, with increasing involvement in advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients across personal and corporate tax
  • Preparation and review of self-assessment tax returns
  • Preparation and review of corporation tax computations
  • Supporting and leading on tax advisory assignments
  • Acting as a key point of contact for client queries
  • Liaising with HMRC and handling complex enquiries
  • Ensuring full compliance with UK tax legislation and deadlines
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–6+ years’ UK accountancy practice experience (essential)
  • Proven experience in mixed tax (personal and corporate)
  • ATT qualified and/or ACA / ACCA part or fully qualified
  • Strong working knowledge of UK tax compliance and advisory
  • Experience using tax software (e.g. IRIS, CCH) and cloud accounting tools (e.g. Xero, Sage)
  • Confident in managing client relationships and handling complex queries
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
