This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior residential conveyancing lawyer to join a busy, well-established conveyancing team known for high standards, client satisfaction and a supportive culture. The conveyancing department is structured into dedicated teams, each made up of an experienced conveyancer and a senior conveyancing assistant, creating a collaborative environment with strong day-to-day support.
The Opportunity
- Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from start to finish, including freehold, leasehold and shared ownership transactions.
About the Role
- Independently manage residential property transactions from instruction to completion, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
- Conduct comprehensive title reviews, raising and resolving issues as they arise.
- Advise clients on mortgage offers and Help to Buy schemes.
- Confidently manage complex leasehold and shared ownership matters, resolving challenges in a timely way.
- Liaise with clients, lenders, estate agents and other solicitors to ensure smooth progress of each transaction.
- Prepare transfer documents, obtain redemption figures and ready files for completion once contracts are exchanged.
- Keep the case management system and client portal updated, ensuring accurate and timely progress reporting.
What We’re Looking For
- At least six years’ strong residential conveyancing experience.
- Thorough understanding of residential property transactions.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to professionally manage a busy caseload with attention to detail.
- A passion for providing quality client care and successfully delivering results on time.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach to handling complex transactions independently.
