The Role:
Due to continued growth, our client is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior to join their established Tax Consultancy team in the Leeds area (hybrid working available). This role offers exposure to both compliance and advisory work, giving you a strong platform for career development.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and submit corporation tax computations and returns for a varied portfolio of clients
- Manage corporate tax compliance obligations and deadlines
- Assist in the preparation of R&D Tax Credit claims
- Identify tax planning opportunities and support senior team members in delivering advisory work
- Liaise with clients and HMRC on a range of tax matters
- Handle additional statutory filings, including Employment Related Securities returns
- Respond to ad-hoc tax queries across the wider firm
- Support and mentor junior staff, contributing to team development
About You
We are looking for a career‑driven tax professional with solid UK Practice experience and a desire to develop further.
Essential Requirements
- ATT qualified (minimum); CTA qualified or studying highly desirable
- 2–5 years’ UK Practice experience in corporate tax compliance
- Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation
- Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering high‑quality service
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to identify advisory opportunities from compliance work
Desirable Skills
- Experience using Alphatax
- Exposure to tax advisory and planning assignments
- Full UK driving licence (advantageous)
