We are currently seeking a Workshop Technician to join a precision engineering business based in Oxfordshire. This role is ideally suited to someone with a medical device or pharmaceutical background, experienced in assembling low-volume, high-precision products where accuracy, compliance, and zero-defect delivery are critical.
Responsibilities
- Assemble low-volume, high-precision small products in line with detailed drawings, SOPs, and quality procedures.
- Work within regulated environments, ensuring full compliance with medical or pharmaceutical quality standards.
- Carry out in-process and final quality checks to ensure products are released with no errors.
- Prepare products for reliable delivery to customers, meeting strict documentation and traceability requirements.
- Attend customer sites where required to support installation or technical issues.
- Maintain a clean, controlled, and well-organised workshop environment.
- Accurately complete build records, inspection documentation, and QC paperwork.
Skills & Experience Required
- Background in medical devices, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or similarly regulated industries.
- Experience assembling low-volume, high-precision products.
- Strong understanding of quality systems, traceability, and controlled processes.
