Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive to join a well-established private client team in Kettering. This is a key hire into a busy and growing department, offering high-quality work, a strong existing client base, and the chance to play a supportive leadership role within the team. The role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • You will manage a varied private client caseload, likely to include:
    • Wills and estate planning
    • Probate and estate administration
    • Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
    • Inheritance Tax planning
    • Trust creation and administration
  • In addition to running your own files, you will:
    • Support and supervise junior members of the team
    • Provide technical guidance to colleagues
    • Help maintain high standards of client care and compliance within the department
    • Work closely with the Head of Team and contribute to a collaborative team environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Ideally 5+ years PQE (as a guide, flexibility considered)
  • Strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, estate administration, IHT and trusts
  • Confident supporting and supervising junior colleagues
  • Organised, commercially aware and approachable
  • Enjoys building relationships with clients and professional referrers
  • STEP qualification is advantageous but not essential
