We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join its production team. The Role

Reporting to the Factory Supervisor, you will be responsible for manufacturing products to precise specifications, following detailed production instructions, and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacture products accurately in line with detailed build instructions.
  • Produce safe, high-quality products that meet specification.
  • Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the production and warehouse areas.
  • Ensure all work complies with food safety, GMP, quality, and health & safety procedures.
  • Support the reduction of production non-conformances through accurate working practices.
  • Carry out general warehouse duties as required.
  • Undertake manual handling and lifting duties safely.
  • Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards promptly.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Follow company procedures and policies at all times.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in food production (2+ years desirable).
  • A Forklift Truck licence (essential).
  • GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths, English, and Science.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow complex manufacturing instructions accurately.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Good IT skills, with ERP system experience desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and fluent written and spoken English.
  • A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
  • The ability to work under pressure while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
  • A genuine interest in manufacturing and continuous improvement.
