The Opportunity: Broadreach Recruitment is supporting a highly respected bespoke interiors and joinery business in the appointment of a Senior Interior Designer (FF&E). This is a senior creative role focused on delivering exceptional interior schemes across luxury residential and heritage projects. You’ll lead projects from concept through to installation, creating interiors that combine craftsmanship and practicality. This role would suit a designer who genuinely values the art, history and permanence of exceptional interiors.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading the creative development of bespoke interior schemes
  • Designing:
  • Kitchens
  • Bathrooms
  • Living spaces
  • Utility and ancillary spaces
  • Producing:
    • Layouts
    • Elevations
    • Presentation boards
    • Joinery details
  • Developing detailed FF&E and material schemes
  • FF&E & Specification
  • Sourcing:
    • Fabrics
    • Furniture
    • Lighting
    • Ironmongery
    • Finishes and materials
  • Coordinating supplier quotations, lead times and specifications
  • Managing procurement alignment with programme and budget
  • Working closely with:
    • Technical Designers
    • Project Managers
    • Craftspeople and suppliers
  • Participating in site meetings and installations
  • Ensuring design intent is maintained through delivery and completion
  • Supporting and mentoring junior designers
  • What We’re Looking For:

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in:
    • High-end residential interiors
    • Bespoke interiors
    • Heritage / listed building environments
  • Strong FF&E knowledge and specification experience
  • Experience with bespoke joinery and fitted furniture
  • Advanced AutoCAD skills
  • Hand sketching ability
  • Experience working alongside bespoke joinery manufacturers
