Are you a recent graduate looking to gain hands‑on school experience before pursuing a career in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy or child psychology? We are seeking enthusiastic and resilient graduates to join an ‘Outstanding’ school in Redbridge as a SEND Teaching Assistant from September, supporting children with autism, ADHD and SEMH needs. Trial days are taking place ASAP.

About this role:

  • Join a highly supportive and inclusive school in Redbridge with excellent transport links via the Central Line.
  • Gain valuable school-based experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD and SEMH.
  • Work closely with experienced SEND professionals including Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists and SENDCOs.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support in both mainstream and specialist classroom settings.

  • Have experience working with children or young people through tutoring, mentoring, youth work, coaching, care or voluntary work.
