Warehouse Operative in St Ives, Cambridgeshire

£26,436.80

8.30am – 5.30pm Monday - Friday

Are you reliable, hardworking and looking for a long-term career with a successful and growing business? We're looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team in St Ives. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for receiving goods, picking and packing orders, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring customer orders are dispatched safely and on time.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Receiving, unloading and checking incoming deliveries
  • Accurately picking customer orders from stock
  • Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Loading vehicles safely and securely
  • Organising stock within the warehouse and maintaining accurate locations
  • Assisting with stock checks and inventory control
  • Completing relevant documentation accurately
  • Operating warehouse equipment safely following training
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness

About You

  • Previous warehouse, stores or logistics experience
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Good communication skills
  • A positive and flexible attitude
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A reliable and dependable approach to work
  • A full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Counterbalance Forklift Licence
  • Previous experience of stock control or inventory management
