This local authority is in a period of transition and are looking for strategic support around the design and mobilisation of their occupational therapy service. Working alongside the Principal OT and other managers, you will design the end-to-end service and oversee implementation.
Your role as Occupational Therapy Service Design and Delivery Manager:
- Design and mobilisation of the occupational therapy service
- Map current pathways across ASC front door, social work assessment teams, equipment services, DFGs, housing and adaptations, and community OT services
- Identify duplication, gaps, threshold inconsistencies, and delays
- Define roles, responsibilities, decision making points, prioritisation frameworks
- Produce redesigned pathways including prevention, early intervention, and flow routes
- Develop workforce model, establishment requirements, and role profiles
- Design governance, supervision structures, clinical oversight, and operational processes
Your previous experience:
- In‑depth knowledge of Occupational Therapy within Adult Social Care
- Proven ability to translate cases into operational delivery
- Experience developing and implementing benefits realisation plans
- Ability to work collaboratively with a range of partners across operations within the organisation and partners outside of it
