Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Service Technician required to join a manufacturer working across manufacturing, primarily of automated machinery / equipment.
The Successful Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Service Technician will provide mechanical and electrical repair, service and maintenance on electromechanical equipment such as conveyors, powder coating equipment, robotics, and more at customer sites UK wide.
The Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer / Service Technician will have electrical and mechanical maintenance experience of equipment such as conveyors, robotics, vacuum machines, compressed air, filtration, pump systems and other electromechanical machinery.

Role:
- Provide mechanical and electrical repair, service and maintenance on electromechanical equipment such as conveyors, powder coating equipment, robotics, and more at customer sites UK wide.
- Be responsible for repair, build and install of machinery such as conveyors, robotics, automated systems, compressed air, pump systems and other electromechanical machinery.
- Install electromechanical / automation & control machinery into all forms of the manufacturing industry, such as automotive, industrial, aerospace and other engineering environments.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
- Experience as a service engineer, service technician, field service engineer, field service technician, electromechanical engineer or similar.
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience on equipment such as conveyors, robotics, compressed air, pump systems, powder coating systems and similar electromechanical / automated machinery.
- Experience of automation and control systems such as robotics, HMI’s, PLC’s is advantageous.
- The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- Good working knowledge of three phase electrics is advantageous.
- A technical engineering degree / qualification or apprentice trained would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel UK wide to customer sites with overnight stays when required.
