Site Based

Technical Partners are currently looking for experienced Compex Electrical Installation Engineers to support ongoing project delivery across multiple Southern sites in the UK. Working as part of a site delivery team, you will carry out electrical installation activities within hazardous and industrial environments, ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out industrial electrical installations in hazardous area environments
- Install containment systems including tray, trunking, conduit, and cable ladder
- Install and terminate SWA, SY, CY, and instrumentation cabling
- Install motors, control panels, junction boxes, field devices, and associated equipment
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Conduct testing, inspection, and fault finding where required
- Work in line with COMPEX, ATEX, and site HSE procedures
- Complete works to a high standard within project timescales
Requirements
- Valid COMPEX 01-04 certification (essential)
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical qualification
- ECS / JIB Gold Card
- Industrial installation experience essential
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Process, or Renewables sectors preferred
- Strong understanding of hazardous area working practices
- IPAF and PASMA advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
