The Role – Senior Associate, Property Law
In this senior position, you will manage a diverse and high-value caseload, including:
- Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord & tenant matters (leases, renewals, negotiations)
- Property finance and secured lending transactions
- Development projects and site assembly
- High-value residential property transactions (where applicable)
You will also be expected to:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Support and mentor junior lawyers and trainees
- Contribute to business development and networking activity
- Work collaboratively across departments on multi-disciplinary matters
What We’re Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
- 5–10 years’ PQE in Property Law within a UK law firm
- Strong experience in commercial property transactions (essential)
- Proven ability to manage complex matters independently
- Excellent understanding of property law, Land Registry processes, and finance arrangements
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and client management skills
- A proactive approach to business development and client growth
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members (desirable)
