The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of complex litigation matters from instruction through to resolution, acting as a key senior fee earner within the team and a trusted adviser to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a caseload of complex, high-value litigation matters from inception to conclusion
- Provide strategic advice on contentious issues across a range of sectors
- Represent clients in High Court and County Court proceedings and through ADR (including mediation and arbitration)
- Draft, review and negotiate key documents including pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements
- Work closely with partners to develop commercially aligned litigation strategies
- Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and trainees
- Maintain excellent client relationships and contribute to business development activity
About You (Requirements)
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- 8–10+ years’ PQE with strong, current UK litigation experience
- Demonstrable experience handling complex commercial litigation (or a strong mix of high-value contentious work)
- Strong technical knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and litigation tactics
- Excellent advocacy, drafting, negotiation and case management skills
- Confident leading matters with minimal supervision and supporting junior colleagues
- Background from a well-regarded private practice (or reputable in-house team) is desirable
Location & Working Arrangement
Harrow area (North West London). Working arrangement to be confirmed, but the firm offers a modern, professional environment with flexibility where appropriate.
Salary & Benefits
- £80,000–£105,000 (dependent on experience)
