We are hiring for our client for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join a highly regulated, fast-paced manufacturing environment in Newry. This Manufacturing Supervisor role is a key leadership position responsible for driving operational performance, maintaining GMP standards, and leading high-performing teams within a world-class production facility. The Role
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of production operatives to achieve performance targets
- Ensure full compliance with GMP, quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Oversee manufacturing processes including compounding, assembly, cleaning and environmental monitoring
- Review batch records, production documentation and quality data with accuracy
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support process optimisation
- Manage deviations, support CAPA activities and resolve production issues effectively
- Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and operational excellence
- Work closely with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth operations
- Support training, development and performance management within the team
The Person
- Experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a regulated industry (pharma, food, medical device or chemical)
- Previous leadership experience (Supervisor, Team Lead or Senior Operator level)
- Strong understanding of GMP or similar quality systems
- Experience planning resources to meet production targets
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Comfortable working cross-functionally within a production environment
- IT literate with experience using production or reporting systems
- Flexible to work continental shift patterns
