You’re a Family Solicitor at Senior Associate level and want a role that genuinely values quality over volume. This is a standout opportunity with our client, a well-regarded Central London practice with an established private family offering and a strong reputation for client care.

You’ll join a team where you can run your own matters with autonomy, work closely with experienced leadership, and build towards future progression (including a pathway to Managing Associate/Legal Director/Partner, depending on experience and appetite).

The Opportunity

This is a senior fee-earning position handling a broad range of private family matters, with the support and infrastructure to do your best work.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing a caseload of private family law matters from instruction to conclusion
  • Advising on a range of issues including:
  • Divorce and separation
  • Financial remedy proceedings
  • Private children matters
  • Cohabitation disputes and Schedule 1 (where relevant)
  • Pre/post-nuptial agreements
  • Drafting and negotiating settlement documentation and court pleadings
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and referral networks
  • Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues (where appropriate)
  • Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the department
  • What our client is looking for

    • 5+ years’ PQE as a Family Solicitor (or equivalent experience)
    • Strong UK private family law experience gained within a recognised UK practice
    • Demonstrable experience running matters with a high degree of autonomy
    • Confidence dealing with HNW/complex financial cases (desirable, not essential)
    • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy preparation skills
    • A client-first approach with strong commercial awareness

    Qualifications

    • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent qualification with strong UK practice experience)

    Location & working arrangement

    • Central London office location
    • Working arrangement to be confirmed, but typically offers a professional, flexible approach depending on seniority and client needs
