You’re a Family Solicitor at Senior Associate level and want a role that genuinely values quality over volume. This is a standout opportunity with our client, a well-regarded Central London practice with an established private family offering and a strong reputation for client care.
You’ll join a team where you can run your own matters with autonomy, work closely with experienced leadership, and build towards future progression (including a pathway to Managing Associate/Legal Director/Partner, depending on experience and appetite).
The Opportunity
This is a senior fee-earning position handling a broad range of private family matters, with the support and infrastructure to do your best work.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing a caseload of private family law matters from instruction to conclusion
- Advising on a range of issues including:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private children matters
- Cohabitation disputes and Schedule 1 (where relevant)
- Pre/post-nuptial agreements
What our client is looking for
- 5+ years’ PQE as a Family Solicitor (or equivalent experience)
- Strong UK private family law experience gained within a recognised UK practice
- Demonstrable experience running matters with a high degree of autonomy
- Confidence dealing with HNW/complex financial cases (desirable, not essential)
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy preparation skills
- A client-first approach with strong commercial awareness
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent qualification with strong UK practice experience)
Location & working arrangement
- Central London office location
- Working arrangement to be confirmed, but typically offers a professional, flexible approach depending on seniority and client needs
