Position type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track shipments, utilizing company systems and processes.
- Coordinate correct equipment allocation and returns.
- Maintain all relevant live equipment and trackers.
- Pick and pack orders from stock.
- Locate stock items to the correct location.
- Check incoming deliveries against supplier delivery notes.
- Pack outgoing orders with reference to Alatas delivery notes.
- Liaise with couriers and arrange transport bookings as required.
- Produce logistical documentation such as commercial invoices, cargo summary tickets, delivery notes, etc.
- Identify and list HS commodity codes on all international and offshore shipments.
- Support sourcing and coordination of 3rd party hired equipment if required.
- Obtain supplier quotations and support cost comparisons.
- Support raising and managing of purchase orders, maintaining visibility of status.
- Maintain visibility and track hired equipment against job requirements, ensuring timely off-hire.
- Achieve the targets and job standards set out by Senior Management.
- Keep work area clean and tidy.
- Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team, assisting in other areas of the business as required.
- Assist in the improvement of company processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain high standards required for the company’s Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental Standards.
- Be communicative with all staff and management.
- Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
- Perform any reasonable request made by Senior Management.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience working in a warehouse or stores environment within the oil & gas service sector.
- Holds a valid UK driver’s license.
- Suitable training and experience of working with a counterbalance forklift.
