Run your own caseload of HNW family matters with autonomy and progression. Be mentored by respected senior solicitors and supported to develop your profile. Enjoy a down-to-earth team culture, hybrid working and a clear career pathway.
Are you a family solicitor who thrives in a collaborative, close-knit team, but wants exposure to high-quality, high-net-worth family work and the opportunity to build your own reputation in the market? This is your chance to join one of Cheshire’s most established boutique family law firms. You’ll take on an existing caseload of divorce and finance matters (typically in the £1.5m+ range) and assist senior lawyers with more complex, HNW matters as you get up to speed. From there, you’ll be supported to grow your own client base and, in time, move into a supervisory role. You’ll be part of a team where your voice is heard, your growth is prioritised, and your efforts are recognised – including a 20% bonus on billing above target.
Who we’re looking for:
- A qualified solicitor with experience managing your own family caseload
- Strong divorce and financial remedy experience; private children work is a bonus
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Comfortable getting involved in BD, networking and blogging
- A natural team player who thrives in a friendly, non-corporate environment
- Down-to-earth and proactive, with a commercial mindset
Salary & Benefits:
- £40,000–£50,000 depending on experience
- 20% bonus on fees over target
- Hybrid working (3 days in-office, 2 from home once probation is passed)
- Part-time considered (3 or 4 days per week)
- Clear progression path with formal appraisals and quarterly development meetings
- Collaborative, approachable team and inspiring leadership
- Sociable firm culture with regular lunches, Christmas and summer parties, and annual team building days
- Stable, community-focused firm with strong local ties
