Charity People is delighted to be partnering with Anne Frank Trust UK to recruit for their next Education Delivery Specialist. Anne Frank Trust UK is an anti‑prejudice education charity founded in 1991 and the UK partner of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. Using Anne Frank’s life story and the historical context of the Holocaust, the Trust empowers young people aged 9–15 to recognise and challenge ALL forms of prejudice and discrimination.

This role is a front‑line education post, delivering engaging workshops in schools across Cumbria, mentoring young people as peer educators and ambassadors, and building strong relationships with schools and local partners. Education Delivery Specialists play a vital role in helping young people develop confidence, empathy and the skills to challenge prejudice in their communities.

Contract and benefits

  • Permanent, full‑time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Salary £32,000, with annual increases of £1,000 for the first three years (subject to appraisal)
  • Home‑based with local and regional travel, plus occasional UK‑wide travel and overnight stays
  • Evening and weekend work required at times (TOIL provided)
  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays and discretionary Christmas closure

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high‑quality educational workshops for young people aged 9–15 in schools
  • Educate about Anne Frank, the Holocaust and contemporary forms of prejudice
  • Train and support young people as peer educators and Anne Frank Ambassadors
  • Provide mentoring and pastoral support to young people throughout their ambassador journey
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools and partner organisations
  • Support events, trips and projects linked to the Ambassadors Programme
  • Ensure excellent safeguarding practice at all times
  • Monitor impact, collect evaluation data and maintain accurate records
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative and values‑led education team

The ideal candidate will have

  • Experience delivering engaging sessions with young people, particularly those facing disadvantage
  • Confidence facilitating discussions around sensitive or complex topics
  • A strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and youth support principles
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Car owner with UK driving license is essential
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the North West region and work flexibly when required
  • A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in education, youth work or a related field
