A well-established civil engineering plant business in Dunstable is seeking an experienced Parts Sales Supervisor to oversee all commercial parts activity within the plant office. This role is ideal for someone who understands plant machinery, knows how to buy parts competitively, and can generate profitable resale revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Control all commercial sales revenue related to plant machinery parts
- Source, purchase and price parts to maximise margin and profitability
- Supervise and support 1–2 team members within the plant office
- Ensure efficient parts supply for internal and external customers
- Maintain accurate records, pricing, and stock/reorder levels
- Liaise with suppliers, negotiate pricing and manage relationships
- Support the wider plant and commercial team to meet business targets
- Work calmly under pressure and maintain a strong, steady approach
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in plant machinery, construction equipment or related sectors
- Strong commercial understanding of parts buying and resale margins
- Supervisory or team-leader experience (even small teams acceptable)
