Electrician/ Electrical Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Renewables business covering Yorkshire and surrounding areas.
The Electrician/ Electrical Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the electrical installation, servicing, and repair of renewables products including Solar, PV, Battery, heat pumps and MVHRs and other associated products.
The Electrician/ Electrical Technician / Electrical Maintenance Engineer will ideally have experience with electrical installation and maintenance of Solar, PV, Battery, heat pumps and MVHRs and related components.

Role Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the electrical installation, servicing, and repair of renewables including Solar, PV, Battery, heat pumps and MVHRs.
- Install electrical panels and pumps at mainly residential and some commercial properties including wiring, connecting, testing, and calibrating systems.
- Collaborate on mechanical aspects of installations such as pipework assembly, kit loading/unloading, and on-site support.
- Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently to minimise downtime, including working with three-phase motors and variable speed drives.
- Maintain accurate logs of work completed, installations, repairs, and servicing.
- Liaise with clients to ensure installations and repairs meet operational and safety expectations.
Based around the York area.
Requirements
- Will ideally have experience with electrical installation and maintenance of Solar, PV, Battery, heat pumps and MVHRs or any related electrical installation work.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, Service Engineer, Pump Engineer, Electrical Pump Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Field Service Engineer, or Installation Electrician.
- Hold a valid JIB Gold card, or ECS Gold Card, or an alternative is essential.
- Hands-on experience with renewables.
- Experience with Three-phase electrics is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification or equivalent is a benefit, but not essential.
- Knowledge of 18th Edition wiring regulations and Health & Safety standards is required.
- Full UK driving licence.
