Role Profile

Department: Corporate Sales

Location: Surrey – Redhill / Staines

Reporting to: Sales Director – South

Main purpose of job: To service a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring you meet their demands and needs as well as building your own portfolio through driving new business.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Client Relationship management – you will have overall responsibility for your clients including service and broking co-ordination.
  • Finding and winning new clients.
  • Strategic and directional planning for management of your clients including liaising with the Account Chairman (where appropriate).
  • Facilitating and overseeing introductions along with on-going management to other areas of the business (e.g. Claims, Risk Management, Credit, EB, Private Clients).
  • Client visits.
  • Creating and delivering Client Service Plan.
  • Ensuring appropriate resources are in place to deliver agreed services.
  • Agreeing appropriate remuneration with client.
  • Client entertainment participation and oversight.
  • Credit control.
  • Ensuring clients are fully aware of policy coverage / conditions / limitations.
  • New Business – Creating an active pipeline and recording on Acturis.
  • Establishment of client demands, needs, cover requirements and programme design.
  • Fact Find completion and organisation of additional underwriting information (e.g. claims experience, surveys, questionnaires etc.).
  • Liaising with Broker on broking strategy to be employed and contributing as necessary.
  • Signing off Broking presentations.
  • Renewal Business – Developing the renewal strategy for each of your clients.
  • Establishment of any changes to client demands, needs, cover requirements and programme design.
  • Fact Find and underwriting information.
  • Liaison with Broker / AH on any re-broking strategy to be employed and contributing as necessary.
  • Signing off Broking presentations.

Person Specification:

Essential Desirable Qualifications: Cert CII, Dip CII.
