The Opportunity

Join a High-Performing Commercial Litigation Team

As a Commercial Litigation Associate (4–5 PQE), you will take on a leading role in managing matters while contributing strategically to complex disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of commercial disputes, including:
    • Breaches of contract claims
    • Shareholder and company law disputes
    • Fraud and asset recovery matters
  • Lead on smaller matters independently and play a central role in larger High Court litigation and arbitration cases
  • Draft pleadings, witness statements, inter-partes correspondence, and interim applications
  • Provide clear, commercially focused legal advice to clients
  • Liaise with counsel, experts, and other stakeholders
  • Attend and actively participate in client meetings, mediations, and court hearings
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, becoming a trusted adviser
  • Contribute to business development and firm-wide initiatives

About You

Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
  • 4–5 years’ PQE gained within a reputable UK law firm
  • Proven experience in commercial litigation and dispute resolution
  • Strong track record of managing matters independently

Technical Skills

  • Excellent understanding of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
  • Advanced drafting skills across litigation documentation and strategy
  • Ability to deliver pragmatic, commercially astute advice
  • Confident in handling client relationships and day-to-day case management
