The Opportunity

Join a High-Calibre Commercial Litigation Team

As a Commercial Litigation Associate (3 PQE), you will work on a diverse and challenging caseload, gaining exposure to both contentious advisory work and high-profile disputes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial disputes, including:
    • Breach of contract claims
    • Shareholder and company law disputes
    • Fraud and asset recovery matters
  • Draft inter-partes correspondence, pleadings, witness statements, and interim applications
  • Conduct legal research and deliver clear, commercially focused advice
  • Liaise with counsel, experts, and key stakeholders throughout proceedings
  • Support on complex High Court litigation and arbitration matters
  • Attend client meetings, mediations, and court hearings
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key day‑to‑day contact
  • Contribute to business development and marketing initiatives

About You

Experience & Qualifications

  • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years’ PQE gained within a recognised UK law firm
  • Strong background in commercial litigation and dispute resolution
  • Experience handling matters independently as well as working within larger teams

Technical Expertise

  • Excellent drafting skills across litigation documents and submissions
  • Strong understanding of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and litigation strategy
  • Ability to provide commercial, pragmatic legal advice
  • Confident handling of client communications and case strategy

  • Proactive, adaptable, and commercially astute
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
