Our client, a distinguished regional law firm, is offering an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Associate to join their Chelmsford office. You’ll advise on high-value, complex transactions and play a pivotal role in shaping client strategy and team success.
The Role: Key Responsibilities
- Advise on a broad range of commercial property matters including acquisitions, disposals, leases, and developments
- Manage your own caseload with minimal supervision, handling large-scale and complex transactions for a diverse client base
- Provide strategic advice to clients across sectors such as retail, hospitality, real estate development, and corporate
- Draft and negotiate legal documentation: contracts, leases, development agreements
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through commercial, solution-driven legal advice
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the department
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 7+ years’ PQE in commercial property law
- Proven ability to independently manage complex, high-value transactions within a UK law firm
- Expertise in drafting, negotiation, and client strategy
- Strong commercial acumen and a solution-focused approach
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
