Our client is hiring a Carbon Consultant to lead sustainability projects with a core focus on carbon accounting and emissions strategy. This role involves supporting clients in calculating, managing, and reducing their carbon footprints, while aligning with evolving ESG and net‑zero expectations. You’ll work with a range of clients across industries, helping them calculate, manage, and reduce their carbon footprints while embedding sustainability into their core operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead carbon‑focused sustainability projects from scoping through delivery, ensuring alignment with client net‑zero goals.
  • Calculate carbon footprints using leading methodologies (Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions), and develop tailored reduction and offsetting strategies.
  • Apply key ESG and sustainability frameworks such as TCFD, GRI ISSB, and SASB to support reporting and disclosures.
  • Prepare carbon‑specific sections of ESG reports and produce high‑quality, TCFD‑aligned disclosures.
  • Translate carbon data into actionable insights for clients’ senior leadership and sustainability teams.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets while maintaining strong communication and relationships with clients.
  • Support internal knowledge‑sharing and thought leadership on carbon‑related topics.

  • Demonstrated experience in carbon accounting and lifecycle emissions analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks and how they relate to carbon and climate reporting.
  • Proficiency in carbon footprint tools and methodologies (e.g., GHG Protocol, CDP, ISO 14064).
  • Exceptional project management and client engagement skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a detail‑oriented, hands‑on approach to delivery.
