The role of Business Manager is critical to delivering the long-term strategy of NFU Mutual – to build sustainable deliver and contribute to the effective and efficient running of the Agency including the management of Microsoft Dynamics and the use of CRM and Power BI to manage team targets and objectives.

Limits of Authority

  • Selling: No regulated advice given on cover for unlicensed General Insurance products.
  • Selling: No regulated advice given on Financial Services products.
  • Claims Handling: No advice given on policy cover under claims for unlicensed General Insurance products.
  • Processing: Billing Center authority as per online Process Manual.

Person Specification, Skills and Experience

  • To have a track record of managing teams within the financial services environment.
  • To have demonstrable experience of coaching individuals to meet standards required.
  • An ability to build relationships across teams and effectively communicate across the business hierarchy.
  • To be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate attributes of honesty, integrity, due skill, care and diligence at all times.
  • An experience of working independently to solve problems and use judgement.
  • Experience of providing excellent customer services.
  • To have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and packages.
