The client is seeking a compassionate, confident, and committed Deputy Home Manager to support the running of a vibrant residential care home for people with learning disabilities. The service provides personalised care within a homely and stimulating setting, with excellent leisure and therapy facilities to promote wellbeing and independence. The Deputy Home Manager will play a key role in supporting the team and ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
This full-time role is 40 hours per week, primarily worked between 9:00am and 5:00pm, but flexibility is required to meet the needs of the service and residents.
Responsibilities- Support the running of a residential care home for people with learning disabilities and ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Assist in leading and developing the care team to deliver person-centred, quality care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote wellbeing, independence, and a warm, inclusive environment for residents.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of leisure and therapy activities.
- Experience in care management or deputy/leadership roles within residential care settings.
- Compassionate, confident, and committed to supporting residents with learning disabilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
